Wow! The past week at Customglamgirl.com has been uber crazy! Last week, we got a call from Mariah Carey’s “people” saying that she was going to be appearing on the Oprah Show on Friday! Mariah was going to be performing in NYC’s Central Park and then was going to do a sit down interview with Ms. O herself! FYI….Mariah just launched her new fragrance “Forever” so she was there to promote that as well. Customglamgirl was asked to produce 500 custom tee shirts for the audience! Okay….this week, we got another call from Mariah’s people to make an additional 250 custom tee shirts for Mariah as she will be performing on the Today Show Oct.2nd! 18 Boxes of our New Custom Bride Robe – Where do we put them?
August 31, 2009 by customglamgirlSo today UPS delivered 18 50lb. boxes of a new robe we had made in Los Angeles. We designed this robe with the Bridal market in mind. Our thoughts were to create a new Custom Bride Robe allowing our customers to embroider their own custom bride phrase on the back like Mrs. so-and-so or Soon to be Mrs. X.
Anyway… that’s all fine but here’s the problem. Our warehouse is ALREADY full! So now we have 18 50lb. boxes of robes with no shelf space so our dilema today where to put them all?!?
We’ve been brain-storming all day. Someone suggested putting them on sale to sell them really fast – but that was shot down because we just got them it. So we put some boxes under desks , we put some where we keep all of our custom t-shirts and we’ve even stacked a few boxes on top of the bathrooms!
We’ve had so many new custom t-shirts made lately that we have no room! We’ll keep you posted…
